New School Foods

Organization Overview
New School Foods is a Toronto-based Food Manufacturing & Technology company. They produce next-gen meat & seafood alternatives, including their first groundbreaking product, a salmon filet that looks, cooks, tastes and flakes like the real thing. It has the exact same amount of Omega 3's, but none of the mercury! And it's made with clean label ingredients you can pronounce. It is now being sold in Canada in both plant-based and meat-serving restaurants including the Park Hyatt and other Michelin guide locations, where the product is getting rave reviews.
Their patented scaffolding process produces more authentic textures & flavors than extrusion, today's industry-standard processing technology. All products are all made at New School's vertically-integrated production facility, home to their groundbreaking V1 Commercial assembly line. The team of 25 engineers & scientists is led by serial entrepreneur Chris Bryson. New School Foods has raised over $15M USD in funding from investors including IKEA, Lever VC, Good Startup, Alwyn Capital, and HATCH.
