A Collective Voice Advancing Our Industry
Promoting Plant-Based
Our community has a key role to play in realizing our vision of a healthier, more sustainable, more equitable food system, and the PBFA team—working closely with our sister nonprofit, the Plant Based Foods Institute—pursues strategies and policies that promote holistic change at every level of the supply network. Our consumer marketing initiative will cultivate the next phase of the industry’s evolution; our policy team proactively advocates for the industry in the halls of government; and our marketplace team works to educate top retailers and foodservice operators about the advantages of increasing plant-based options on shelves and menus.
Get Active in Policy
In addition to providing big policy updates and comprehensive resources illuminating the policy landscape, our Policy team further elevates the voices of our community by hosting key in-person events on Capitol Hill and at the state level, where members can connect, engage with our team, and advocate directly to lawmakers.

PBFA is rooted in community and prioritizes fostering connections among our membership. We host in-person and virtual networking events throughout the year and members are encouraged to browse the Member Directory and the Job Board to connect directly with fellow members.
