Organization Overview
Mundo Vegano is a Costa Rican company founded in 2016 with the mission of promoting the vegan lifestyle in the region. It imports and distributes products from various plant-based brands to facilitate consumers' transition from an omnivorous to a vegan diet. In September 2018, the company changed its legal name to Grupo Vegano Latam S.A., but Mundo Vegano remains its trade name. Starting in 2023, it began its local production plan for plant-based foods to include more affordable products in its catalog to meet the demand of lower socioeconomic segments.
