2025 Advisory Councils
Harnessing the expertise and creativity of our diverse member community, PBFA councils guide, support, and inform the priorities of our organization. Position yourself and your company as a thought leader in the plant-based foods industry by joining one of the councils below.
- Policy Advisory Council: Plays a key role in shaping PBFA’s federal and state policy work, harnessing our membership’s collective expertise to champion, strengthen, and elevate the plant-based foods industry.
- Marketplace Advisory Council: Supports PBFA’s marketplace strategy by identifying challenges, shaping a collective narrative, and guiding activation of the Marketplace playbook.
- Membership Advisory Council: Plays an essential role in guiding our efforts to better serve our diverse member community. Council members will support in-person event planning to enhance member engagement.
- Supply Chain Sustainability Advisory Council: Advises on strategies to address supply chain gaps, align with PBFI’s agriculture and food systems goals, and support the growth of key crops like peas, chickpeas, and sunflower protein.
- Marketing Advisory Council: Shapes industry-wide marketing strategies, focusing on shopper marketing and political mobilization tied to PBFA’s mass marketing objectives.
The strength provided by banding together with others to raise the visibility and voice of the plant-based foods sector, as well as to put forth solutions to many of the concerns we all face today, were the main motivating factors for us in helping to get the PBFA off the ground. What we’ve seen is that this effort has clearly been very successful and has also been effective in helping us to sharpen the focus on our company’s mission.
