Professional Bio
Jo Saint-George, Esq. is a 35 -year vegan -affectionately known as the "Plant Powered Warrior Lawyer" who is considered to be a pioneer of the Plant food movement in communities of color as advocate and educator in South Central Los Angeles, South Pheonix and Maryland where she has worked tirelessly to pass Plant-Based Meal legislations for Maryland prisons, and she obtained the passage of a national resolution for the NAACP to support the growth of plant-based industry in African-American communities. Jo is the Chair for the HBCU College of Plant-Based Lifestyle Medicine whose mission is to develop a pipeline of plant-based physicians who use Plant Based Lifestyle Medicine as primary care for patients with chronic disease and to incubate innovative plant food vertical growers and manufactures on HBCU Campuses.
