Join us as the PBFA community comes together on Thursday, March 30th for an all-hands-on-deck discussion about the FDA's recent guidance around plant-based labeling. Their recent proposal would create an unprecedented and unwarranted "voluntary" labeling regime for plant-based milk, even while acknowledging that consumers are not confused about the differences between plant-based versus animal-derived milk.

Why does this matter to all PBFA members, regardless of category? By the end of the year, the FDA intends to publish additional guidance: "Labeling of Plant-Based Alternatives to Animal-Derived Foods; Draft Guidance for Industry." The latest proposed guidance targeting plant-based milk should put all PBFA members on notice that unprecedented new labeling regimes are possible for every product across the store in the near future.

We hope you'll join us and your fellow members for this urgently important discussion about these new developments and their implications for our industry.

***Please note, this event is for PBFA members only. If you are not a member but would like to attend, please email maddie@plantbasedfoods.org to ask how to participate as a guest.
